Hausa and Yoruba Fight in Lagos- Yoruba and Hausa fight is ongoing in Lagos State between the youths of Hausa and Youths.
The Hausa and Yoruba fight in Lagos started at Fagba, Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State and our Information Drillers gathers that many persons of both tribes has sustained injuries with properties destroyed.
An eye witness who is also a resident of the area told our source said that they’re lots casualties recorded in the renewed Hausa and Yoruba fight in Lagos but our correspondent could not ascertain the information.
Another eye witness who is also a resident of the area confirmed that she can’t leave home since Tuesday, she said the Yoruba and Hausa fight started on Tuesday, 20th October, 2020.
She said. “We have not been able to leave our homes. They started the fight on Tuesday. We thought it was over yesterday until they renewed the fight again today.
“I don’t know the cause of the fight, but Isaw people running helter-skelter some minutes ago.”
All efforts to reach the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, proved abortive as of the time of this report.
The cause of the hausa and Yoruba fight is also yet to be discovered. The yoruba and hausa fight in Lagos state took place admit endsars protest which has also led to many casualties.
Recalled that last year, August 2019, there was a Hausa and Yoruba fight in Lagos between traders which amounted to lost of properties worth millions of naira. No life was lost but many had sustained injuries.
An eye witness who explained the cause of the yoruba and hausa fight last year said that, fight broke out in a dumb site when some Hausa boys tried to extort money from a yoruba man, that’s how the fight broke out.
