Couples Calls Off Wedding Over Food in Port Harcourt – A wedding in Port Harcourt was cancelled by both the bride and groom over food insufficiency.
A Twitter user identified as Ngozi has left many people stunned over the news of a wedding ceremony that was called off by the couple in Port Harcourt.
In a series of tweet, Ngozi recounted how the trouble started when the groom got upset over food not being served to his side of the family at the wedding ceremony.
Ngozi narrated that the bride said nothing in response as she went back to her seat. However, when it was time to go, the bride told her groom that she was no longer interested in the marriage.
Rather than attempt to fix the situation, the groom in response, stated that he too was no longer interested in the marriage.
Ngozi wrote:
“In conclusion bride and groom family clashed. Everyone parted ways including bride and groom.”

Bishop Kukah Speech What Bishop Kukah Said
The sad event has caused a stir on social upon the breaking of the news.
Instagram users reacted with different opinions.
Some said groom’s family should not always rely on bride’s family for food during marriages.
Another users recalled how marriage was scattered in 2011 after the brother of one the couple ran all the errand only to return and finds no food, so he scattered all the plastic chairs out of anger.
@BabyfaceAssassyn said it was normal for the man to flare up.
Theres nothing wrong with d man….this type of thing dey happen for wedding wella….that the man in question flared up dosent mean hes gonna be a bad husband….no b everything una go dey use label person badly.
Wahala for you dey over assume, how do you expect her to leave her wedding duties and be checking if the husband’s family has eaten.
Hasty conclusion . They may have been under pressure planning the wedding ceremony and all, not everyone has the capacity to handle pressure . Besides , than a man expresses his anger in words doesn’t automatically make him a wife beater.
Another user said, No, only the man isn’t grown enough. If he could shout at her in a public place, their wedding venue at that, over something so trivial, na beating for dey wait her inside that marriage. You don’t ignore signs like that. Na from public shouting private beating dey enter.
