The Incorporation of Dark Mode Will Help Dim The Brightness of The App
A Nigerian Programmer Based Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital Joshua Okoro has redesigned WhatsApp Messenger an application owned by Facebook.
The App which was released on the 19th of October, 2019 went viral on Twitter aiming at reaching WhatsApp Inc.
The redesigned App has lots of unique components that will make WhatsApp more easy for users to navigate from different sections to the other.
According to the designer (Joshua Okoro), the redesigned WhatsApp is more user friendly.
He said, “users who finds it difficult to leave the their chat area to status area can now view status without leaving the chat areas.”
“The incorporation of dark mode will also dim the white screen colour integrated by WhatsApp and this will users who has sight problems,” He added.
Joshua Okoro is an Uyo based computer programmer who helds from Ebonyi State. He’s specialized in User Interface Designs (UI), User Experience Designs (UX), and Graphic Designs.
Nigerian’s technology is hopefully embracing a new phase as innovations are fast taking over the country, innovations hubs are spreading, thus, exposing many to the value of science and technology.
Mr Okoro employed the employed the use of AdobeXD to incorporate additional features to what WhatsApp has currently.
It could be recalled that in 2009, WhatsApp was founded by Brian Acton and Jan Koum, former employees of Yahoo Aafter leaving Yahoo in September 2007, and in 2014, Facebook announced it was acquiring WhatsApp for US$19 billion, this has been Facebook’s largest acquisition to date.
