Khafi, announced her marriage on social media with lovely pictures one year after she announced her engagement to her lover, Gedoni.
In the post she said: “On this day last year I wake up engaged to the love of my life. The worst thing happened this year but through the tears and sorrow the best also happened too.”

In December 2019, Gedoni had proposed to Khafi while they were both away on a vacation in Cape Verde. On April 4, the pair cancelled their wedding due to the social restrictions that had trailed the COVID-19 pandemic. Khafi and Gedoni has been engaged since 2019.

In the same spirit, Gedoni took to his Instagram page announce their wedding, he wrote: “A year ago she said “YES” and some months later she said ‘YES’ again, this time to FOREVER. It’s not been an easy year especially for you.
“You lost your brother and Covid19 happened. Amidst all these heaviness and heartbreaks you still love deeply.”
